Heightened Potential Co. has been serving clients and families since 2008.  We pride ourselves in providing services with the whole child and family in mind.  Our therapists integrate a variety of techniques and strategies including equine movement and interactions as well as family/play based interventions.

E. Jeanni Bonine MS, OTR/L, HPCS, CTRI

Owner/Director

Occupational Therapist

Jeanni is the founder of Heightened Potential Co. and graduated in 2003 from Western Michigan University's program in occupational therapy.  She later completed a post professional masters in Complementary & Alternative Medicine with an emphasis in nutrition and is in process of completing a masters certificate in Infant and Early childhood Mental Health through Northern Illinois University.  Jeanni  holds a certification in a multitide of  interventions including sensory integration (SIPT), is an IL certified early intervention specialist, early intervention evaluator and is an AHCB board certified hippotherapy clinical specialist.  Jeanni has a passion for integrating natural environments, play based interventions, family coaching, eating/ mealtime and holistic health into her treatments.  Jeanni currently  provides services in family's homes in Roane and Cumberland counties through the Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS), at our onsite location in Rockwood and at our partner facility STAR's Lenoir City location. 

Dakota Theobald MOTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Dakota graduated from Eastern Michigan University with her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2020.  She came to heightened potential with  clinical experiences in outpatient neurology clinics, acute care, inpatient rehab, community-based settings, and  home-based services for youth struggling with mental illness and behavioral challenges. Dakota is certified as an IL early intervention specialist and has additional training through the American Hippotherapy Association Inc. in integrating hippotherapy as a treatment tool in her practice.  Dakota also has additional training an special interest in supporting mental health, supporting individuals in foster care and who have experienced trauma through a sensory lens.  Dakota provides services in family's homes in Loudon, Blount and Knox counties through TEIS, via teletherapy and at our partner facility STAR's Lenoir City location. 

Lora Casasfranco MOTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Lora attended University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she receieved a bachelor's degree in recreational therapy.   She later graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy from Tennessee State University in 2019.  Lora has additional training through the American Hippotherapy Association Inc. in integrating hippotherapy as a treatment tool in her practice.  Lora also has additional training an interest in early intervention family based coaching, supporting sensory needs and feeding/ mealtime goals.   Lora currently provides OT services in family's homes primarily in Knox and Anderson counties through TEIS, via teletherapy and at our partner facility STAR's Lenoir City and South Knoxville location. 


Maria attended Iowa State University for her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She received her Masters in Occupational Therapy at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. She has experience in adult acute care, outpatient pediatrics, schools, and early intervention. Maria is passionate about collaborating with other disciplines to work toward her client's goals. She has additional training in sensory integration strategies, handwriting development and emotional regulation programs.   Maria will be providing services in home for TEIS families in Anderson, Knox and Loudon counties.  She also will be providing contract services for Clinton schools.
